Statement PDF

Dear friends, volunteers, and supporters,

After considering the new emergency orders from both the State of Illinois and the City of St. Louis I have regrettably decided to suspend both the Fairview Heights and St. Louis 40 Days for Life on-site vigils. This will go into effect immediately and will be in place until the expected completion of the campaigns on April 5th.

For those who were scheduled to come and pray with us please still set aside this time and pray for an end to abortion in our region and a healing of our country. Please pray at home or at a nearby church or chapel.

Sidewalk counseling will continue in St. Louis City but may be limited or modified as conditions change. In Fairview Heights, IL sidewalk counseling will continue through 1:00 pm Saturday 3/21/2020 yet continued operations at this location are still under review.

While we are taking measures to protect the health of our staff, community and clients, our Women’s Care Connect pregnancy center will continue to support the women we serve as best we can. We remain available to all our clients for emotional support and coaching over the phone, referrals, and connections to agencies that remain open, “drive-through” diaper/wipe/baby supply pick up, and rent/utility assistance.

Our specialized ultrasound training has also been postponed. If you would still like to participate as a pregnant model, please contact us at (636)789-1320 and we will get you on the waiting list for when this training is rescheduled.

What’s next?

In the coming days, our team here at the Coalition For Life St. Louis will be working to continue the 40 Days for Life campaign in another format. This is currently under development and will be announced early next week.

In the meantime, pray and value this important time with our families. While we might be “social distancing” from others, make sure to hold close those in your household and lead them to the heart of Jesus.

For questions or concerns please call our office at (314) 827-4039 or visit now.

May God be with all of you in this difficult time, and may He especially bless those mothers most at risk for abortion.

Warm regards,

Brian Westbrook
