We are excited to announce that as of July 1st, 2016, any financial gift accepted by Coalition For Life St. Louis over $100 may be eligible for tax credits. For all agencies distributing tax credits the amount of credits available cannot exceed $3.5 million in a state fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). These funds are issued equally to all qualified agencies statewide, and any additional funds not used will be re-distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
If your donation(s) to Coalition For Life St. Louis meet or exceed the amount of $100 in a calendar year (January 1st through December 31st) then you will be sent a tax credit application in the mail which you will fill out and then mail back to Coalition For Life St. Louis. After internal processing, which may take 2–3 days, the Coalition will send the application to the state government. The state may take 45–90 days to process the application. They will then send information to you on how to apply your tax credits to your taxes.
While these tax credits are a huge opportunity to give a much larger gift, there are limited funds to go around, and they are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
