Client Care Specialist

Client Care Specialist – Part Time $12.50+, 15-30 hours 
Position serves pregnant mothers in their choice for life. Your duties include case management, setting appointments, and regular client communications. Social work, psychology or counseling experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contacting new clients within 48 hours of their initial referral
  • Continuing contact with clients via phone, SMS, or email throughout their involvement in the Woman’s Care Connect program, ensuring their needs are addressed
  • Maintain an updated and organized list of resources for client needs
  • Outreach to local organizations about resources relevant to client needs
  • Enter and update client information and notes in online database
  • Schedule and attend off site appointments with clients

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work field; or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Computer competency required (Excel, MS Word, email, etc.)
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills
  • Mobile phone competent
  • Empathetic and compassionate
  • Possess active listening skills

LifeChoice Internship

LIFEChoice Intern – Part Time $9.50+, 10-30 hours

LifeChoice staff serves as the heart of the sidewalk counseling efforts.  You will gain experience and training in community outreach, peer mentoring, event planning, fundraising, public speaking, volunteer management and marketing. College students or graduates preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pray daily for the work of the Coalition for Life
  • Personally filling slots for sidewalk counseling/prayer vigil
  • Maintaining equipment and signs at sidewalk counseling/prayer vigil location
  • Maintain turnaround statistics/stories
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Cleaning office
  • Attend monthly staff meetings
  • Emailing/calling volunteers
  • Organizing volunteers for events and campaigns
  • Thanking/reassuring volunteers and donors
  • Assisting with banquet and/or other fundraiser execution
  • Assist in copying, printing and mailing related tasks
