Business Manager

Business Manager – Full Time $30,000+, 40+ hours per week
Position manages the day-to-day financial health of the organization.  Your duties include payroll, purchasing supplies, budget projections & reports, managing expenses, tax-credits and donor reports & relations.  Accounting, payroll, and business experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pray daily for the work of the Coalition for Life.
• Personally fill slots as needed for sidewalk counseling / prayer vigil.
• Will be responsible for reviewing and updating the Profit & Loss report monthly.
• Work with the volunteer accountant in preparing the Form 990.
• Will be responsible for tracking and processing donor tax credits.
• Will ensure that donors receive donation statements and “thank you’s”
• Will ensure donations and donation records are kept up to date.
• Will be responsible for updating donor credit card information and running cards that were previously declined.
• Will process expense reports for employees.
• Will process employee timesheets and run payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Will update employee information in the payroll system as directed.
• Will prepare offer letters, personnel files and orientation documents for newly hired employees.
• Will conduct new hire orientation, assist new hires with personnel documents and ensure that I9 documents are completed accurately and in accordance with requirements set by law.
• Will ensure that new candidates are reviewed, scheduled for interviews and moved through the interview process in a timely manner.
• Will send thank you letters to candidates and ensure that they have been updated as to the status of their applications.
• Will ensure that employee performance reviews are conducted by tracking employee review dates and communicating required dates to the applicable manager.
• Shall be responsible for procuring all supplies.

Client Care Specialist

Client Care Specialist – Part Time $12.50+, 15-30 hours 
Position serves pregnant mothers in their choice for life. Your duties include case management, setting appointments, and regular client communications. Social work, psychology or counseling experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contacting new clients within 48 hours of their initial referral
  • Continuing contact with clients via phone, SMS, or email throughout their involvement in the Woman’s Care Connect program, ensuring their needs are addressed
  • Maintain an updated and organized list of resources for client needs
  • Outreach to local organizations about resources relevant to client needs
  • Enter and update client information and notes in online database
  • Schedule and attend off site appointments with clients

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work field; or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Computer competency required (Excel, MS Word, email, etc.)
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills
  • Mobile phone competent
  • Empathetic and compassionate
  • Possess active listening skills

LifeChoice Internship

LIFEChoice Intern – Part Time $9.50+, 10-30 hours

LifeChoice staff serves as the heart of the sidewalk counseling efforts.  You will gain experience and training in community outreach, peer mentoring, event planning, fundraising, public speaking, volunteer management and marketing. College students or graduates preferred.
