Suddenly, here we are at the end of our fall 2017 40 Days for Life Season of Faith. During that time, we had 1,583 different people from across the region come together in prayerful, peaceful vigil. And all praise to Jesus Christ – 32 women turned around at the gates of Planned Parenthood to choose life!

At our Celebration Rally Sunday night, we heard Tom Hood and Emma Vonder Haar share personal testimonies of their work with women choosing life. Watch them yourself in our Facebook Live video. It is amazing how helping one woman, child, or family can make a world of difference.

Emma Vonder Haar spoke to us about her work at Good Shepherd Children & Family Services, one of our fabulous pro-life partners in service to our Women’s Care Connect mothers.

Our Women’s Care Connect staff is working with these women who have chosen life, ensuring they have the right resources to meet their needs. Some are facing the winter ahead unsure of how they will keep their families warm; they are part of 51 mothers in our 2017 Christmas Giving Tree program.

You can help make a huge difference for these women and their families without ever leaving your home – purchase items from the wish lists on‘s wedding registry or Amazon‘s baby registry. Click the links, or find the wish lists by searching for First Name: Women’s Care Last Name: Connect on those websites. These families are at risk of having no Christmas without Women’s Care Connect; you can give them a beautiful one. If you would like to learn more about our clients, the Giving Tree, or any other aspect of Women’s Care Connect, please call our office (314) 827-4039 or email

As we move on from here, thank you for your continued support. You are saving lives and empowering women.

For Life,

Brian Westbrook
